The Maldives has two main monsoon seasons that significantly impact diving conditions. Understanding these patterns helps you plan the perfect dive trip.

- Water Temperature: 26-27°C
- Wave Height: 0-1 meter
- Best For: All diving types and levels
Wet Season: May to October
The southwestern monsoon brings higher waves and occasional rain, but still offers good diving with unique benefits.
- Visibility: 20-30 meters
- Water Temperature: 27-28°C
- Wave Height: 1-2 meters
- Best For: Manta ray encounters, experienced divers
Peak Season Highlights
