Using a combination of traditional knowledge and modern communication with other boats, we search the channel edges where whale sharks feed on plankton. When we spot one, you'll slip into the crystal-clear water for an unforgettable encounter.

Interaction Guidelines

Responsible Whale Shark Encounters

  • Keep 3m distance: Do not touch or chase the whale shark
  • No flash photography: It disturbs their sensitive eyes
  • Enter water quietly: No jumping or splashing near the animal
  • Swim alongside: Never swim directly in front or behind
  • Maximum 10 swimmers: Per whale shark at any time
  • No feeding: Do not attempt to feed or attract whale sharks
